Moving to New York City is a daunting experience for an inexperienced actor. Thousands of performers and actors relentlessly audition, mail headshots, create reels, and meet with acting coaches in the city; it is easy to get lost in the crowd. Singularus Productions seeks to alleviate some of the stress associated with novice New York actors pursuing a career in entertainment.
Singularus Productions introduces “The New to New York Actor's Showcase.” Every day someone moves to New York City with the hopes of becoming a star. Singularus Productions introduces twenty ]five such hopefuls to the New York City entertainment industry. The showcase features recent transplants to New York City who are currently pursuing acting careers. Each showcase highlights an individual actor before industry insiders and the public in a monologue or one act play.
